Reportedly, Jonas was already on the cusp of filing divorce documents to end his marriage to Sophie. It was also claimed that Joe and Sophie have had some serious problems for the last six months. Apparently, Joe has occasionally been seen without his ring over the past few weeks. Fans immediately noted that Joe Jonas was wearing his ring in a photo posted to Instagram, which featured him and his brothers enjoying downtime in Texas.
Sophie had also been spotted supporting Joe on his tour, and in mid-August, she was seen having a great time in the audience alongside Priyanka Chopra. She also posted a photo of her and Joe backstage on August 14th, which was just a few weeks ago. Despite all that, it seems that the couple is splitting after reports stated that the two are indeed going for a divorce.
Joe Denied Any Related Rumors
Joe and Sophie recently sold their Miami mansion, and real estate listings can often be an early sign of celebrity split-ups. Still, it seemed like this was simply a house-flipping project, and there was nothing special to read into. They sold the home for $15 million and made a pretty big profit as a result. Apparently, they purchased the place a year ago for $11 million. After a few renovations, the two flipped it, meaning they made a $4 million profit in a few months.
The two’s real estate portfolio includes a home for $3.7 million that Joe bought in Sherman Oaks back in 2016 and a listing for a Manhattan condo for $6 million they bought in 2020. Sophie also purchased a $14.1 million mansion in Encino back in 2019, which was sold for $15.2 million in 2021.
